Prenatal and Postpartum Cessation Program

The Mississippi State Department of Health is seeking a vendor to provide a Prenatal and Postpartum Cessation Program. The goal of this project is to expand the availability of cessation treatment services among Mississippi women to reduce nicotine dependency within the prenatal and postpartum phases of pregnancy. The vendor will be responsible for providing a HIPAA-compliant online web-based portal for healthcare providers to refer pregnant women to the cessation telehealth program, as well as providing cessation educational sessions and ongoing data reports. The vendor will also be required to participate in overall program evaluation efforts and provide quarterly meetings and other meetings as required by the MSDH Office of Adult Health: Tobacco Control. Some key features of the scope of work include: * Providing a HIPAA-compliant online data portal system for collecting ongoing data on enrollees in the cessation telehealth program * Enrolling up to 65 participants per fiscal year in the cessation telehealth program * Providing 4 prenatal and 6 postpartum cessation educational sessions on quitting tobacco use and relapse prevention * Providing enrolled tobacco user testing CO monitors and/or saliva tests for tobacco use status * Providing 2 $25.00 restricted vouchers at prenatal sessions 3 & 4, if tobacco-free, and 2 $25.00 at postpartum sessions 1-6 if tobacco-free * Providing four digital media promotion placements for the cessation telehealth program * Scheduling monthly/ongoing conference calls with state contacts to continue collaboration and programmatic updates * Providing a program referral training at the MSDH Office of Adult Health: Tobacco Control Annual Statewide Meeting, the Mississippi Tobacco Free Coalition (MTFC) Quarterly Meeting/Training, and as requested by the MSDH Office of Adult Health: Tobacco Control
