Description
The State of Iowa is seeking bidders to provide Mechanical Services at state-owned and leased locations throughout Iowa. The contract term will begin on August 1, 2026, and end on July 31, 2027, with the option to renew for up to five annual extensions. Bidders must provide experienced technicians with the necessary licensure and certifications to perform the required work, including HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration services. The evaluation of bids will be based on the sum of proposed hourly rates during regular business hours.
• The contract will be awarded in two tiers, with Tier 1 awards going to the two lowest bidders in each zone and Tier 2 awards going to additional bidders who meet specific requirements.
• The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive or permit cure of nonmaterial variances in the bid.
• Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to occupational safety and health, environmental protection, and labor standards.
• The contract will include provisions for invoicing, payment, and dispute resolution.
• Bidders must provide detailed invoices and supporting documentation for all goods and services provided.
