Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking a consultant to develop the San Luis Obispo Valley Basin Groundwater Sustainability Plan Water Year 2025 Annual Report. The report must be submitted to the California Department of Water Resources by April 1, 2026. The consultant will work closely with the two Groundwater Sustainability Agencies in the SLO Valley Basin and other key stakeholders to develop the report. The report will include data on groundwater conditions, water use, and progress towards implementing the Groundwater Sustainability Plan. The consultant will also facilitate public workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather feedback on the report.
• The consultant will develop the Annual Report according to regulatory requirements.
• The consultant will facilitate five working session meetings with GSA staff and key stakeholders.
• The consultant will develop an outreach plan to solicit public feedback.
• The consultant will present the draft Annual Report to the City and County in early-to-mid-February 2026.
• The consultant will upload the Annual Report to the SGMA Portal by April 1, 2026.
