RFP-Business Attraction Consultant-Addendum 1

The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation is seeking a Business Attraction Consultant to provide direct and ongoing domestic business attraction support. The scope of work includes lead generation, strategic and targeted individual company outreach and engagement support, and on-call engagement with the Corporation. The selected Proposer(s) will work with the Corporation team on lead follow-up, pre-qualifying leads, and scheduling initial meetings between the Corporation and target companies. The Proposer(s) will also provide dedicated support in planning and preparation for site visits. • The Proposer(s) should submit a cost proposal they believe is appropriate to achieve the scope and deliverables outlined in the RFP. • The Proposer(s) should provide targets they believe are achievable based on their professional judgment. • The Corporation anticipates the Proposer(s) to provide a "living" list of strong attraction prospects that is consistently available to the Corporation and Partnership and updated regularly. • The Proposer(s) should have knowledge of domestic business movement and be able to place a dedicated employee in Rhode Island for a duration of time during the contract.
