The City of San Antonio is seeking qualified contractors to execute a comprehensive streetscape improvement on South Flores Street between Commerce and Martin Streets. The work includes demolition and replacement of curbs, widening of sidewalks, careful removal and waterproofing of sidewalks over basements, reconstruction of two under‑structure sidewalks, mill‑and‑overlay of the roadway, installation of concrete bus pads with signage and lane markings, new traffic signals from Houston to Martin, replacement of a storm‑sewer trunkline and inlets, and the addition of street trees and irrigation.
