FBO Apron Expansion & Rehab

The City of Charlotte is seeking a qualified contractor to expand and rehabilitate the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) apron at the Charlotte aviation facility. The work includes demolition of existing trailer office and parking, construction of new aircraft pavement, installation of a new taxilane entrance stub, widening of an existing entrance stub to support larger aircraft, and rehabilitation of select pavement areas. Additional scope covers security fencing, asphalt and concrete pavement, airfield electrical utilities, and pavement markings. • Demolition of existing trailer office and auto‑parking area, followed by new aircraft pavement construction. • Installation of a new taxilane entrance stub and widening of existing stub for ADG‑V aircraft movements. • Rehabilitation of select apron pavements, security fencing, electrical work, and markings.
