Disposition and Development of Former Risdon Manufacturing Site, 2100 S.Main St

The City of Waterbury is seeking proposals for the development of the former Risdon Manufacturing Site, located at 2100 S. Main St. The city is looking for a financially viable and experienced developer or existing business entity to purchase and/or lease the property and develop the site into an alternative energy/clean energy and battery storage park, or some combination thereof, that will result in increased municipal tax revenues. The project must be completed in a timely manner, compliant with zoning regulations and all other City, State, and Federal requirements. • The site is available for purchase and/or lease. • The city is seeking a developer with experience in alternative energy/clean energy and battery storage. • The project must be completed in a timely manner. • The developer must comply with all City, State, and Federal requirements. • The city is looking for a financially viable proposal that will result in increased municipal tax revenues.
