Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is seeking bids for the supply of rubber used for outsoles in boot manufacturing at SCI Phoenix. The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and expire on September 30, 2027. The awarded supplier will be required to provide materials in conformance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. Deliveries shall be made F.O.B. Destination, and the awarded supplier shall notify the PCI Shop one day prior to delivery.
• The contract is part of the Small Business Procurement Initiative, and bidders must qualify and self-certify as a small business to participate.
• The estimated quantities are 25,000 lbs. for Rubber (pre-mix) and 450 lbs. for Sulphur (cure package).
• The awarded supplier may request to update their awarded pricing every six months.
• The contract includes provisions for sampling and testing, emergencies, and price adjustments.
