Professional Engineering Services for Flow Control Valves

The City of Wheaton is seeking professional engineering services for the replacement of the City’s Pressure Adjusting Station Control Valves at three locations. The project includes design services, bidding and construction administration services, and construction inspection services. The selected firm will provide a dedicated Project Manager and ensure that all work is completed within 120 days of signing an agreement. The City is looking for a firm with at least 10 years of experience in relevant specification development and a strong team with the necessary expertise. • The project involves replacing existing control valves and associated piping and electrical connections. • The City requires a firm with experience in engineering design services and construction administration. • The selected firm will be responsible for providing a comprehensive audit of the existing control valves and associated piping and electrical connections. • The firm will also be responsible for developing specifications and final design drawings, preparing a Project Cost Estimate, and attending a pre-construction meeting.
