Description
The Navajo Nation Division of Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish the existing parking lot at the Shiprock Senior Center and perform associated site‑work. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to remove pavement, handle erosion control, obtain a water permit, coordinate utilities, and restore the site to a clean, graded condition ready for future improvements. The scope follows 2019 NMDOT Standard Specifications and includes mandatory submission of a Quality Control Plan, Safety Plan, and compliance with Navajo procurement rules and a 6 % Navajo sales tax.
• Demolition of 0.6 acre parking lot, including removal of asphalt, concrete pads, railing, and related structures.
• Required water permit acquisition, storm‑water pollution prevention plan, and erosion‑control measures (no separate bid line item).
• Full utility coordination, site cleanup, mobilization, construction staking, and delivery of all equipment; pre‑construction meeting mandatory after award.
• Bid must be submitted in four hard‑copy bound sets plus a sealed bid schedule envelope; includes 10 % bid bond and 100 % performance/payment bonds.
