Adult Crisis Residential Services

The San Mateo County Health, Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Adult Crisis Residential Services. The selected Proposer will provide a 16-bed licensed Behavioral Health Crisis Residential Facility in San Mateo County, offering services such as peer and family support, medication services, psychiatric services, linkage to follow-up services, and assistance with acquiring or maintaining a stable community living arrangement. The facility will operate 24/7 and provide a safe, drug-free environment for clients. The Proposer must demonstrate experience in providing similar services and meet the minimum qualifications and requirements outlined in the RFP. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing crisis stabilization services • Offering medication review, medication support, and psychiatric services • Providing education and treatment for substance use issues • Assisting clients in creating an aftercare plan • Coordinating services with the client’s existing community treatment team • Ensuring all clients have referrals/appointments for ongoing care before discharge
