Description
The City of Danville is soliciting bids for the construction of Kemper Road Improvements from Edmonds Street to Arlington Road. The project includes regular excavation and grading, construction of a sidewalk along the south side of Kemper Road, replacement of concrete driveway entrances, and installation of continental crosswalks. The contract time limits can be found in the Supplemental General Conditions. • The project requires prequalification with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
• A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on January 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
• Bids must be submitted electronically or on paper by February 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
• The City of Danville reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
