Reagents for sequencing in MiSeq and MiniSeq platforms

The U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit SOUTH (NAMRU SOUTH) is seeking to purchase reagents for library preparation and sequencing in MiSeq and MiniSeq platforms. The laboratory is looking for kits that can prepare libraries with low DNA input and include dual index at the 5 and 3 prime ends for sample identification. The sequencing kit should allow for more than 150 sequencing cycles and include an internal control to validate the sequencing run. The required products include PhiX control v3 kit, MiSeq Reagent Kit v3, Nextera XT DNA Sample Preparation Kit, Nextera XT Index Kit v2, and MiniSeq High Output Reagent Kit. • The kits must be designed for library preparation and sequencing. • The library preparation kit should include enzymatic fragmentation, size selection, end-repair, a-tail, and ligation step in the same reaction. • The sequencing kit should allow for more than 150 sequencing cycles and include an internal control to validate the sequencing run. • The products should be shipped to NAMRU SOUTH in Callao, Peru. • The vendor should inform the final users of expiration dates as soon as they become available and request their approval prior to shipment.
