The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to issue a sole source award to Bradley Electro Sales Corp for the procurement of an S&C Vista Remove Supervisory Underground Distribution Switch Gear Model 523. The S&C Electric Co. brand is required because the Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC) has existing S&C Switching Stations on site, and the spare unit must fit inside the current footprint of the existing equipment. This will allow the agency to simplify and ensure that maintenance costs are kept low. • The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed-Price. • The procurement is for supplies, and the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 – FAR 12.201-1, Simplified procedures. • Bradley Electro Sales Corp is the authorized distributor for S&C Electric Co.
