RFQ - As-Needed Urgent or Immediate Road Repair Services

The County of El Dorado is creating a three‑year Qualified List of firms capable of delivering urgent or immediate road‑repair services on an as‑needed basis throughout the county. Respondents must submit a sealed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that demonstrates experience with California public‑agency road work, staff qualifications, past performance, a work‑plan, and references. The County will select approximately two or more firms for the list and will later issue task orders or work orders (≤ $25 k) or task orders (> $25 k) for individual repair projects such as culvert cleaning/replacement, vegetation removal, sink‑hole repair, pavement failures, and other emergency roadway work. No price information is required at this stage; the contract ceiling for the three‑year period is $1,500,000. • Scope: emergency road‑maintenance services (culverts, vegetation, sink‑holes, pavement, etc.) across all County‑maintained roads and “County Zone of Benefit” roads. • Eligibility: Class A General Contractor license, DIR registration, prevailing‑wage compliance, insurance/bonds as required for orders ≥ $25 k. • Key dates: Questions due 18 Mar 2026 5 PM PT; full SOQ due 31 Mar 2026 3 PM PT. • Award: Qualified List valid 3 years; subsequent task orders negotiated after qualification.
