Notice of Intent to Award to Sole Source BOA

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to award a sole source contract to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation for the provision of aircraft braking system parts. The parts must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and must meet the requirements stated in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis, and the USCG expects to award the contract without considering other offers. • The contract requires the provision of genuine OEM parts with packaging requirements stated in the CMM. • The parts must be approved in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines. • The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation. • The USCG reserves the right to inspect any non-conforming product or component. • The contractor must notify the USCG of any changes that may impact the product or service.
