Notice of Intent to Synopsize Sole Source Devens RFTA Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system

The US Army is soliciting a Sole Source contract for the modernization of the Devens Reserve Force Training Area's (RFTA) Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system. The contract aims to upgrade and ensure the interoperability of the Army's public safety communications. The project requires the utilization of proprietary technology and services from L3 Harris Technologies Inc. to achieve this goal. The modernization effort will focus on integrating the legacy LMR system into the Army CONUS Enterprise (ACE) LMR architecture, enhancing interoperability within the Base Emergency Communications System (BECS) capabilities. The required period of performance for this effort is 24 months from the date of the award.
