Description
The Department of Juvenile Services is seeking a vendor to provide secure transportation services for young people committed to their care and custody. The services will include transportation to out-of-state residential facilities and return to Maryland upon completion, as well as transportation for young people who have absconded to another state and require return to Maryland. The vendor will be required to provide secure transportation services in accordance with the Interstate Compact for Juveniles.
• The vendor must have experience in providing secure transportation services for young people.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Interstate Compact for Juveniles.
• The vendor must provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach to providing secure transportation services, including their experience, qualifications, and pricing.
• The vendor must submit a financial bid form as part of their proposal.
