The State of California’s Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a vendor to provide, deliver, install, and maintain portable chemical‑toilet units at two winter‑season state parks (Donner Summit and Taylor Creek). The contract is a three‑year, fixed‑price, rent‑and‑service agreement covering all labor, materials, chemicals, waste disposal, and weekly servicing (including pumping, cleaning, restocking, and repairs) throughout the November‑May season. The vendor must meet stringent safety, environmental, ADA, and insurance requirements, and must submit a single PDF bid package by the September 30 deadline.
• Provide and service chemical‑toilet units (minimum 2 weekly services at Donner, 1 weekly at Taylor Creek) during the winter season.
• Supply biodegradable, non‑corrosive chemical solution and handle all waste removal.
• Maintain detailed service logs with photos, comply with insurance limits, and adhere to small‑business/DVBE preferences and GenAI disclosure requirements.
