Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Sheets

The Town of Cary is seeking qualified bidders for Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Sheets as part of the rehab of the Clarifier Settling Plate assemblies at the Cary Apex Water Reclamation Facility. The selected replacement sheets must adhere to the minimum specifications provided, including NSF 61 certification, corrosion resistance, and non-toxicity. The bidder must provide pricing subtotals and grand total for the option, and the estimated date all goods will be delivered. • The project includes replacement of the fiberglass reinforced plastic sheets in settling plate assemblies for two clarifier trains. • The replacement sheets must be certified to NSF/ANSI 61 standards for use in potable water application. • The sheets must have excellent chemical resistance, low toxicity, and be suitable for direct potable water contact. • The sheets must be manufactured using a thermoset resin system with continuous filament mat. • The sheets must have a smooth surface with a color of white. • The bidder must provide a complete description of all materials, certified drawings showing details of construction, dimensions, and operation and maintenance instructions. • The bidder must also provide an affidavit from the manufacturer, certifying that the equipment delivered meets all applicable requirements.
