Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for walkway improvements and miscellaneous repairs at Kentucky State University. The project includes renovation of an existing lab space, site work, and installation of new electrical and plumbing systems. The project will be completed in two phases, with the first phase focusing on the renovation of the existing lab space and the second phase focusing on interior and exterior work. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. Key features of the project include:
• Renovation of an existing lab space
• Site work including new sidewalk and concrete pad
• Installation of new electrical and plumbing systems
• Creation of 1 hour rated corridors to meet code
• Renovation of restrooms and installation of new finishes, fixtures, and accessories
• Installation of new Unistrut system for equipment power and air supply
• Installation of new ADA temporary luxury restrooms including walkway connector structure, power to the restrooms, and lighting for the covered walkway.
