Transformative Climate Communities Round 6 IMPLEMENTATION Grant (FY 25-26)

The Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Round 6 Implementation Grant supports California‑wide, neighborhood‑scale climate‑resilience projects that cut greenhouse‑gas emissions while delivering health, economic and environmental benefits to disadvantaged, low‑income and tribal communities. Up to three awards of roughly $27.5 million each are available, with a five‑year performance period. Applicants must be a business, nonprofit, public agency or tribal government, and must form a collaborative governance structure with at least one co‑applicant. Matching funds of 25‑50 % are required depending on the funding goal. The grant covers a broad set of possible interventions, from equitable housing and land acquisition to solar, microgrids, water efficiency, transit access, waste reduction, indoor‑air‑quality upgrades, brownfield redevelopment and community resilience centers.
