P2520-26 Belfair and Umatilla Waterline

The City of Kennewick is seeking bids for the Belfair and Umatilla Waterline project, which involves water improvements to address water main breaks and improve overall pressures in the area. The project includes the installation of approximately 1723 LF of 8-inch PVC water main, 1460 LF of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 728 LF of 1-inch service lines to 24 existing meters, 5 new fire hydrant assemblies, water valves, and all associated fittings to complete the water line work. The project also includes the abandonment of the existing steel water system in place, trench pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work to restore the project area. • The project requires a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. • The successful bidder must provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond, or a performance and payment bond if federal funding is used. • The project is subject to the state hourly minimum rates for wages and fringe benefits. • The contractor must comply with the City's non-discrimination policy and provide written notice of this requirement to any labor organizations with which the contractor has a collective bargaining or other agreement. • The contractor must also comply with the E-Verify system and provide proof of compliance within three working days of the City's request.
