Aggregate, ABC Material (Granite)-Tyrell County

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking vendors to furnish and deliver Aggregate ABC Granite Material to the Tyrell County Maintenance location on an as-needed basis. The contract will have an initial term of one year, with the option to extend. Vendors must provide pricing for the delivery of aggregate material, and the state reserves the right to evaluate bids based on the lowest price that meets the specifications. The contract requires vendors to deliver material within 20 consecutive calendar days after receipt of order, and promptness of delivery may be used as a factor in the award criteria. • The vendor must have an approved resource listed for the producer/supplier quarry or pit facility. • The vendor must complete and return several attachments, including the pricing form, HUB supplemental vendor information, location of workers utilized by vendor, and certification of financial condition. • The state encourages vendors to identify opportunities to reduce the total cost of the contract. • The contract includes provisions for continuous improvement, dispute resolution, and product recall.
