Construction of Smokehouse with Attached Game & Hide Processing Structure

The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation are seeking a design‑build contractor to create a culturally‑appropriate smokehouse and an adjoining game and hide processing shelter for use on their Early Childhood Education campus. The contractor must handle all phases from site preparation through construction, ensuring compliance with tribal, state, and federal safety and building codes, and incorporate traditional design elements where feasible. • Design and construct a fire‑resistant smokehouse with proper ventilation and fish‑hanging racks. • Build a covered processing structure with overhead beams for hanging game hides, providing drainage and protection from the elements. • Manage site work, permitting, utilities, and post‑construction cleanup; maintain a three‑year contract term with possible annual renewals. • Provide detailed cost proposal, meet insurance/bond requirements, and comply with Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) preferences.
