Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service seeks to obtain competitive bids for seed harvesting, extraction, processing, and associated work at Munson Seed Orchard located in Milton, Florida. The work includes seed and cone harvesting, cone drying and extraction operations, seed processing, and daily housekeeping. The contractor must provide ten laborers for an eight-hour workday, including one designated crew leader, and ensure that all laborers are capable of performing physically demanding orchard work. The contractor must also comply with all rules, policies, and procedures of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Florida Forest Service, and Munson Seed Orchard.
