Description
The 28th Maintenance Squadron (28 MXS) requires one refrigerant compressor part (Attachment 1: Brand Name Justification and Approval) for an 808 Air Conditioning Unit manufactured by TLD. The compressor must meet or exceed all stated specifications and salient characteristics. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and the acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The evaluation factors for award are Technical Capability, Delivery Lead Time, and Price. Technical and delivery lead time, when combined, are significantly more important than Price. The Government may award to other than the lowest-priced offeror if the added value of superior technical features or faster delivery is determined to provide better overall value to the Government.
