Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide multicultural activities, introductory German language and culture classes, bi-weekly cultural tours, and monthly German cooking classes for newcomers at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. The contractor will be required to provide a total of 12, 8-hour tours to Trier, 24, 4-hour cooking classes, and 12, 2-hour grocery store tours per year. The contractor must be fluent in English and German. The contract has a base year and four option years.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing multicultural activities for personnel at Spangdahlem AB, Germany
• Conducting introductory German language and culture classes
• Leading bi-weekly cultural tours and monthly German cooking classes
• Providing grocery store tours to educate newcomers on shopping in the local economy
• Coordinating and scheduling classes and tours
• Preparing lesson plans and materials
The contractor will be required to work a maximum of 288 hours per year, including preparation time, lesson planning, and coordination.
