Description
The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price bridge contract for the installation of Block Upgrade (BU) 7.0/8.1 modification kits on USAF C-130J aircraft. The contractor will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and preserving the aircraft, completing the installation, and returning the aircraft to flyable status. The scope of work includes kit management, change management, and aircraft maintenance. The contractor must have the necessary knowledge and technical expertise to perform the work without unacceptable delays or disruption to the established installation process.
