Thermal Blankets

The Army is seeking thermal blankets that can produce vehicle-like thermal images. The blankets should be able to withstand extreme heat, cold, wind, and rain, and run on a direct current. The desired specifications include a weight of 1.25 lbs, width of 24 inches, and length of 48 inches. The blankets should also have a foam-backed design with a two-conductor over-molded water-resistant connector. Some key features of the thermal blankets include: • Self-healing materials to limit damage to the heater • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures, from -40C to +80C • Operating temperature range of 20F • Electrical ratings of 117.3333333 watts, 120 volts, and 0.98 amps • AC/DC connection with an over-molded connector
