Description
This municipal water‑utility project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 2,540 ft of 8‑in. PVC water pipe, 630 ft of 12‑in. PVC pipe, installation of 58 water service connections, replacement of a 4‑in. water service, and installation of fire hydrants, gate valves, and an anode system. The scope also includes extensive civil works such as clearing and grubbing, trench excavation and backfill, classified fill, driveway reconstruction, curb and gutter replacement, landscaping, and temporary water system provision. The contractor must submit a sealed paper bid, adhere to strict DBE and CWA requirements, and comply with prevailing‑wage, insurance, bonding, and Buy‑America provisions.
• Install new water mains (≈ 2,540 ft of 8‑in. PVC, 630 ft of 12‑in. PVC) and related fittings (gate valves, fire hydrants, anodes).
• Perform extensive site work: excavation, backfill, classified fill, driveway, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and landscaping reconstruction.
• Provide temporary water service, dewatering, traffic control, and detailed documentation (submittals, SWPPP, DBE, CWA compliance).
• Submit sealed paper bid by Sep 2 2026 2 PM; questions due Aug 5 2026; project must be completed within 240 calendar days after Notice‑to‑Proceed.
