Description
The State of Missouri is seeking a modular vehicle barrier system with a transport trailer to protect against vehicular threats. The system must meet the ASTM rating of F2656 M30 P3 and have an included enclosed transport trailer for hauling the barriers. The contractor must provide a system that can be easily removable from the transport trailer for quick setup. The contract period is from the date of award through one year, and the state agency guarantees a minimum order of two sets of 72 barrier units.
• The modular vehicle barrier system must be modular and adaptable to 10 lanes of roadway coverage.
• The system must assemble easily with or without the use of cables or ball/hitch connections.
• The barrier system must have three points of connection via a metal structure.
• The system must be safety yellow in color for maximum visibility.
• The system must have an open structure design with no solid metal/bullet-resistant piece being more than 18 inches in width.
• The system must not exceed four square feet per unit.
• The system must fold for carrying and storage with no tools required for assembly.
