Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a sole source acquisition of a five-year maintenance service agreement for the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus Sequencer. The agreement will provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for the instrument, including access to proprietary diagnostic software, firmware updates, and certified replacement parts. The CDC requires a mission-critical component for its PulseNet foodborne disease surveillance network and supports whole-genome sequencing activities necessary for rapid identification and investigation of foodborne disease outbreaks.
