Description
The Fayette County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for the replacement of a deteriorating metal pipe culvert with a reinforced concrete pipe-arch culvert on Grant Road (250). The project includes removing the existing culvert, installing a new concrete pipe-arch culvert, utility coordination and/or relocation, grading, and asphalt paving. The project must be completed within 105 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The bidder must be GDOT prequalified in Work Class 500, 513, or 550 and provide at least three successfully completed projects of similar scope and size within the past five years.

• The project includes the installation of a 73-inch x 43-inch concrete pipe-arch culvert.
• The bidder must provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount.
• The bidder must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract value.
• The project has a special allowance of $18,000 for unforeseen conditions.
