REHABILITATION OF A 0.41 MILE SECTION OF HUNTERS ROAD AND CULVERTS REPLACEMENT

The City of Norwich is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide full‑service survey and design for the rehabilitation of a 0.41‑mile (2,180 ft) segment of Hunters Road between CT Route 12 (Norwich Ave) and Laporte Drive, including replacement of two bridges/culverts (IDs 103018 & 103019). The scope covers: • Field surveying and existing conditions documentation • Preliminary and final design in compliance with CTDOT LOTCIP guidelines and the CTDOT Highway Design Manual • Preparation of permitting packages and coordination with the City and CTDOT • Development of bid‑ready construction documents (plans, specifications, cost estimates) The contract will be awarded to the firm that demonstrates the required engineering expertise, experience with similar roadway and bridge projects, and ability to deliver complete design packages ready for construction.
