Description
The 2026 Emanuel County LRA Resurfacing Project involves the resurfacing of eight roads in the Ranch Park Community and Norristown – Covena Road. The project includes patching, leveling, storm drain improvements, shoulder building, and striping. The successful bidder will be required to secure and pay for all permits, assessments, charges, or fees required in connection with the proposed construction. The project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed.
• The project requires a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid.
• Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder.
• The contractor must obtain a business license in Georgia, be fully insured, and be a Licensed Contractor in the State of Georgia.
• The contractor must maintain comprehensive general liability, commercial automobile liability, and statutory worker’s compensation insurance.
