Description
This RFP seeks a qualified contractor to demolish the existing parking lot at the Shiprock Senior Center, obtain necessary water permits, manage erosion control, and deliver a fully finished site ready for new construction per 2019 NMDOT specifications. The contractor must be a certified Navajo‑Nation business, provide required bonds and insurance, and handle all associated utility coordination, quality‑control, safety, and site‑cleanup activities.
• Scope includes demolition of 0.6 acre of pavement, removal of existing structures, geogrid installation, subgrade preparation, base‑course placement, asphalt paving, curb & wheel‑stop installation, concrete sidewalks, signage, and striping.
• Mandatory deliverables: 4‑copy proposal, bid schedule, Letter of Interest, proprietary markings, and compliance with Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act and 6 % Navajo sales tax.
