Description
The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide abatement services at two elementary schools: Frank H. Freedman Elementary School and Mary Walsh Elementary School. The work includes asbestos and associated materials abatement as designated in the Contract Documents. The estimated value of the contracts is approximately $50,000.00 for Bid 26-112 and $150,000.00 for Bid 26-113.
• The bids are subject to M.G.L. Ch. 149 and other procurement statutes.
• The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
• Massachusetts DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply.
• The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
