Maintenance and Repair of Autoclave Lab Equipment

The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide annual preventative maintenance and repair services for three different models of Autoclave Steam Sterilizers. The contractor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of parts as needed. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for additional years. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection, occupational safety, and health. • The contractor must provide a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable calibration report for all autoclave temperature and pressure check equipment. • The contractor must provide all equipment, materials, labor, tools, expendable items, personal protective equipment, and transportation necessary for the proper execution and completion of inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement services. • The contractor must be responsible for the immediate clean-up of the work area and the removal of debris. • The contractor must provide a service report that lists all services performed during the visit, including any additional repairs required and recommendations for replacement of components.
