Description
The National Park Service, Lake Roosevelt National Recreational Area, is seeking a firm fixed-price offer for the rehabilitation of a 42-foot Munson Landing Craft. The project includes a full overhaul of the propulsion systems, refurbishment of the pilot house navigation and operator systems, structural and deck repairs, development of operational SOPs and safety labeling, and transport logistics and operational training for four NPS personnel. The contractor shall be responsible for transportation of the vessel to and from their facility, supplies, and labor necessary.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Full overhaul of propulsion systems, including Caterpillar 3208 engines and Arneson outdrives
• Refurbishment of pilot house navigation and operator systems
• Structural and deck repairs, coatings, and outfitting
• Development of operational SOPs and safety labeling
