Aerotech Motorized Stages for Development of Spectral Response Detector Calibration System

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis with Aerotech, Inc. for motorized stages for development of a spectral response detector calibration system. The system consists of one X-axis motorized stage, one Y-axis motorized stage, one rotary stage, and one rotary motor. The stages and motors must meet specific requirements, including payload capacity, travel distance, and accuracy. The contractor must provide all necessary software, support hardware, and cables for the use of the stages and motors. • The X-axis motor must travel 400 mm with ±1.5 μm accuracy. • The Y-axis motor must travel 150 mm with ±1.5 μm accuracy. • The rotary stage must rotate 360° with ≤ 0.05° accuracy and ≤ 0.001° resolution. • The rotary motor must have a velocity of 90 deg/s. • All items must be new, and used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award.
