Description
The Kentucky Department for Parks is seeking a vendor to provide professional bartending services for events held at My Old Kentucky Home State Park. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, supervision, and equipment to ensure exceptional mixology and bartending services. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. The vendor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. Some key responsibilities include:
* Providing a detailed price list, including hourly rates for bartenders and any additional service fees
* Providing standard bartending equipment and supplies, such as drinkware and garnishes
* Ensuring that all bartender staff are at least 21 years of age, trained in responsible alcohol service, and certified and experienced for all scheduled events
* Maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring that all staff arrive at the State Park in a timely manner
* Coordinating with the Event Coordinator to determine event schedules, set-up requirements, and any special requests
* Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests are served in a responsible and professional manner
Some of the key events that the vendor will be expected to provide services for include:
* Meetings
* Weddings
* Department for Parks events
* Miscellaneous events
The vendor will be evaluated based on their price, experience, and any additional fees associated with providing bartending services. The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of insurance and licensing, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
