Waters Xevo TQ-XS with Acquity UPLC I-Class Plus Maintenance

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking a single source purchase for the maintenance of a Waters Xevo TQ-XS with Acquity UPLC I-Class Plus. The equipment is used for analyzing seafood samples for human safety, and routine maintenance is required to keep it reliable and operational. The contract will be for a period of three years. • The equipment is proprietary to Waters Corporation and service can only be provided by the manufacturer. • Unauthorized repairs will void any warranty on past service and repairs. • The majority of the parts for this equipment are only manufactured by Waters and cannot be alternatively sourced. • The equipment may be entitled to factory-directed updates such as instrument and/or software upgrades, which are provided only by Waters.
