Pre-Engineered Metal Building

The Town of Nantucket is seeking a qualified bidder to furnish, deliver, and erect a pre-engineered metal building on an existing concrete slab. The building will be installed around the PFAS Treatment System and must meet specific requirements, including a size of 40 feet wide x 112 feet long, eave height of 21 feet, roof pitch of 3:12, snow load of 30 pounds per square foot, and wind load of 140 mph. The successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, engineering, delivery, and supervision necessary to supply and erect the building. • The building must be code-compliant and meet all applicable local, state, and building code requirements. • The bidder must provide stamped and signed engineered drawings prepared by a Massachusetts-licensed Professional Engineer. • The bidder must provide a copy of current Certificate of Insurance for the business. • The bidder must have been regularly and actively engaged in the supply and erection of pre-engineered metal buildings for a minimum of five years. • The bidder must provide proof of DCAM certification for projects estimated to cost over $150,000.
