IRST Block II Full Rate Production (FRP) Lots 2 and 3 – Fuel Tank Assembly (FTA), Sensor Assembly Structure (SAS), and Final System Integration

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the Boeing Company for the procurement of F/A-18 E/F Infrared Search and Tracking (IRST) Block II Pod weapon replaceable assemblies (WRAs). The contract will include the Fuel Tank Assembly (FTA) and Sensor Assembly Structure (SAS), as well as the performance of final system integration. The selected contractor must be capable of troubleshooting and adjudicating issues with the WRAs and may be required to design, build, or acquire special test equipment (STE) to aid in production. • The contract is for the procurement of IRST Block II WRAs, including FTA and SAS. • The contractor must perform final system integration to ensure all WRAs function correctly. • The contractor may be required to design, build, or acquire STE to aid in production. • The Government is considering a sole source award to the Boeing Company. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this synopsis.
