Description
The Comstock Public Schools are seeking bids for the demolition of the existing STEM Academy building. The project involves demolishing the building and site elements, establishing final grades, and placing final seeding at completion. A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 20, 2026, and bids are due by September 8, 2026. The owner and construction manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid that best serves their interests.
• The project requires a performance bond and payment bond for contractors bidding on work exceeding $50,000.
• A current contractor qualification statement must be on file with Miller-Davis Company to be awarded a contract.
• The prequalification process may require providing OSHA 300/300A logs, EMR letters, bonding information, and insurance documents.
• All bids submitted shall remain valid for 60 consecutive calendar days after the bid date.
