Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to install a stacked washer and dryer in a greenhouse facility. The program already owns a Samsung front-load washer and dryer set, which is compatible with stackable installation. A stacking kit needs to be supplied and installed as part of the project. The installation area is located along an exterior wall in the greenhouse entryway, and existing plumbing must be reconfigured, with new electrical, ventilation, and structural modifications required.
• The contractor will need to demo a CMU wall for drain tie-in.
• The contractor will need to install a dryer exhaust vent, taking into account building code restrictions.
• The contractor will need to ensure that the installation meets all relevant building codes and regulations.
• The contractor will need to provide a stacking kit and install the washer and dryer.
