Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract to L1 Enterprises for the procurement of Scrub and Linen Dispensing Systems for use at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) facility in New Orleans, LA. The contract will be a base award with four potential option years. The system must meet specific characteristics, including providing clean scrubs to surgeons and nurses, controlling access to scrubs, and reducing touch points and cross contamination.
• The scrub dispensing machine must provide clean scrubs to surgeons and nurses.
• The linen dispensing machine must be specifically designed to accommodate linen only.
• The system must utilize software compatible with existing equipment for communication and reporting purposes.
• The system must include a range of usage, user, and inventory control reporting.
• The system must provide for management of customizable alerts of both current inventory needs as well as forecasting of inventory shortages.
