City of Damascus CDBG Water System Improvement Project

The City of Damascus is seeking bids for the construction of Water System Improvements. The project includes demolishing the Kestler Avenue chemical feed building and constructing a new chemical feed building with chemical feed equipment, electrical, controls, fencing, grading/site work, well pump and appurtenances, well site piping, including valves, fittings, and associated appurtenances required to connect the well and drinking water treatment facility to the City’s existing drinking water distribution system. The project also includes the installation of approximately 20 water meters, meter boxes, and all appurtenances necessary for complete installation. Key aspects of the project include: • Demolition of the existing chemical feed building • Construction of a new chemical feed building • Installation of chemical feed equipment, electrical, and controls • Fencing, grading, and site work • Installation of well pump and appurtenances • Connection to the City's existing drinking water distribution system • Installation of water meters, meter boxes, and appurtenances The City of Damascus encourages Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns to apply.
