Contractor will supply all necessary material, tools and equipment needed to scrap out and/or move a piece of equipment within WVA's manufacturing buildings as per SOW #MR003 at the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet NY.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Watervliet Arsenal is seeking bids for a firm fixed price contract to provide machine rigging services at the Watervliet Arsenal in New York. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all necessary materials, tools, and equipment to scrap out and/or move a piece of equipment within the manufacturing buildings. The contractor must also verify that all energy sources have been disconnected and de-energized prior to commencing work. The period of performance is 180 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Key aspects of the job include: * Scraping out and/or moving equipment within the manufacturing buildings * Verifying all energy sources have been disconnected and de-energized * Coordinating with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for assistance with the WVA overhead crane * Obtaining a "Burn Permit" from the WVA's Fire Department if necessary * Preparing the floor to accept the machine * Securing the machine to the floor * Rough leveling the machine once secured to the floor * Cleaning the foundation after machine removal * Disposing of non-hazardous waste * Securing the work site before and after machine removal
